Sharp Graphical Calculators

There will be a variety of stalls all based on chance - pupils will have fun discovering that gambling does not pay! Organised by the Maths team.

Fun with Maths Software

A range of software applications that can encourage interest and enthusiasm for maths - good for masterclasses, maths clubs, etc. Run by Danny Dryer, with an extra session at the end of the day for teachers.

Murderous Maths*

Interactive performances of quirky maths features such as magic squares, knots, tricks, codes, and amazing numbers. Run by Khartan Poskitt, the author of the "Murderous Maths" books.

"Ask The Family"

A fun competition for family groups in the Chichester Area, organised by Derek Robinson. Lets do some maths together!

An ICT workshop led by Alison Clark-Jeavons, former AST and now lecturer at the University. New activities from RM Nimbus.

A range of ICT and problem-solving activities arranged by Alan Foster, AST and former maths advisor.

Activities to teach and explore AT1 - opportunities to use IT. Run by Nina Patel, who is seconded as an associate advisor for one day a week.

Using Graphical Calculators

Run by Ros Hyde, an organiser from the Maths Association. Ros edits T3, a magazine to promote teaching and learning using graphical calculators. Suitable for pupils not used to graphical calculators.

It's a Knockout!

Elimination rounds in the morning between teams of four, then a head-to-head knockout finale. Organised by Danny Dryer.
