Mr. Numbervator*

Mr. Numbervator and his act is designed to promote a 'can-do' attitude towards learning maths.
 • Monday 22nd October

Solving Problems

Maths students from the University of Chichester led by Adrian Pinel will have a range of problem-solving activities and problems for pupils to enjoy.

Area Finals - Primary

Teams of four from each school will participate in area finals - six from each area (North and South) will go forward to the final on Friday.

Probability Fair

There will be a variety of stalls all based on chance - pupils will have fun discovering that gambling does not pay! Organised by the Maths team.

Murderous Maths*

Interactive performances of quirky maths features such as magic squares, knots, tricks, codes, and amazing numbers. Run by Khartan Poskitt, the author of the "Murderous Maths" books.

"Ask The Family"

A fun competition for family groups in the Chichester Area, organised by Derek Robinson. Lets do some maths together!

An entertaining and informative workshop by Peter Hall for Key Stages 1 and 2.

 • At the Southern Area Professional Centre

Competition

Rounds throughout day and an entertaining finale involving the teachers!

 • At Rydon
 • 13 teams of 4.
